The Light Park – Katy, TX
A family-friendly drive-thru Light Show that will open to spectators every night until 1 January 2023 and show a dazzling symphony of lights and music.

Dashers Light Show in Humble, Texas

Enjoy a Christmas celebration where you may stay in your car and wear pajamas. With friends and family, enjoy the thrill of Dasher’s Lightshow as you navigate through light tunnels, enormous Christmas trees, snowmen, and vast tracts of land. At Dasher’s drive-thru, there are almost a million sparkling lights that are timed to Christmas music.

Houston drive through Christmas Lights 2022 – Neighborhood light shows
There are a number of neighborhoods in and around Houston where the residents put up a great Christmas Lights show. Most of the time people walk these neighborhoods. However, on cold, wet days, it may not be a bad idea to drive through and enjoy the spectacle. See below our round-up of the top Neighborhood Christmas light displays that you can enjoy from your cars. The best part is that these drive thru Christmas lights in Houston are FREE! The only thing to keep in mind is that traffic may be heavy.
River Oaks Houston Christmas Lights
Drive through River Oaks to admire the lighted houses and enormous oaks. With pouring lights and other features, these traditional displays are spectacular. Some prestigious streets include Willowick, Del Monte, Inwood Drive, and River Oaks Country Club. For a spectacular show, check out the corner house at Mockingbird and Del Monte! Every year, people flock to this area to see the Christmas lights, which are perhaps the best in Houston.

Shepherd Park Plaza Christmas Lights
It’s true that one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city for viewing lights is where this Christmas light display, which dates back to the late 1960s, is located. Amazing displays line the streets as neighbors vie for prizes for Most Original, Best Overall, Most Creative, and other categories. We adore the illuminated arches that span the neighborhood’s streets! At Shepherd Park Plaza, Houston, Texas 77018, you can find Shepherd Park Plaza. The neighborhood is accessible by taking Ella Boulevard north a little distance past 43rd Street.

Nite of Lites – Prestonwood Christmas Lights

The “granddaddy” of Houston neighborhoods is Prestonwood Forest in Northwest Houston, where entire streets have taken part in extravagant light shows since the 1970s. On Saturday, December 11, the Night of the Lites will be illuminated. The neighborhood’s 786 houses compete for honors such as “Best All Around Home,” “Best Cul-de-Sac,” “Best Block,” “Best Mailbox,” and others. The area is near Tomball Parkway (SH249).

Johnson’s Christmas Corner – Christmas Lights Cypress, TX

For ten years, the Johnson family has been designing holiday light displays. At 14811 Cypress Meadow Dr., it has a Christmas light show with 70,000 lights, a snow machine, and a bubble machine that are timed to more than 50 songs for a different show every night of the week.
Santa is also available on certain nights to take photos with the kids. Follow Johnson Corner Facebook or Twitter to be informed of nights with Santa. Another cool feature is its online Santa chat where kids can ask a question to Santa.

The Gullo House Christmas Lights

Owner of Gullo auto dealerships Tony Gullo designed this 5-acre winter wonderland. It’s a genuinely amazing display of Christmas lights and ornaments, and Mr. Gullo sometimes goes so far as to dress up as Santa Claus.

The programs debuted in 2022 on Thanksgiving. Sunday through Thursday, shows begin at 5:30 PM and go until 9:00 PM. 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. They will be operational till January 1st. Christmas Eve will last till ten o’clock.

Pecan Grove Christmas Lights in Richmond, TX

The Christmas lights in this Fort Bend area near Richmond are well-known. I visited the Pecan Grove Plantation off FM359 area. The community’s primary thoroughfare is Plantation Drive. There will be lights on most side streets, although some are undoubtedly more decorated than others. The P.O.A. Hall of Fame residences exhibit their award-winning sign on the key streets Morton League, Austin Colony, and Quarterpath, which are some to check out.
When: Lights should be up by Saturday, November 26th. Competition judging will begin on December 12th and will end on December 15th.

Lights in the Heights – Woodland Heights, TX

In Houston, this part of the Heights is well-known for having a lot of Christmas decorations. Lights in the Heights is typically held in the neighborhood. Lights in the Heights is more than just a festive, enjoyable event for the whole family. Additionally, it’s a rivalry between neighbors!
The Lights in the Heights committee will select winners for numerous award categories each year. The homeowners put a lot of thought into their decorations and create some amazing holiday displays!

Franck’s Christmas Light Show (Copperfield)
The Franck family on Viney Creek shares a neighborhood lights tradition since 2008. Songs are timed to music. The light show runs nightly from 5:30 pm – 10 pm (Sunday through Thursday) and till 11 pm on weekends. Located at 15923 Viney Creek. Music is broadcast on 89.7 FM. The music and lights are so fun and uplifting! The whole show is around 45 minutes and is on a loop.
