LABYRINTH AT DISCOVERY GREEN CONSERVANCY
You’re invited to bring Discovery Green’s latest art installation to life during Green Mountain Energy Earth Day on Sunday, April 10 when Houston artist Reginald C. Adams creates a labyrinth out of flowering plants on the Sarofim Picnic Lawn.
A labyrinth is an ancient ritual that connects the individual with the earth in a walking path to meditation and reflection. To use a labyrinth, one walks with focus and concentration, a circuitous path that winds around to reach the center of a large circle and then slowly retraces steps to reach the end of the meditation.
Adams will lead the inaugural Labyrinth Walk during Green Mountain Energy Earth Day on Sunday, April 10 at 4 pm.
