The Cougars have been led this 2020 season by redshirt freshman guard Caleb Mills, who has been average 13.0 points per game and is on track to becoming only the second freshman in University of Houston history to lead the Cougars in regular season scoring. Aside from Mills, sophomore guard Nate Hinton has been dominant in rebounds this season, averaging 9.4 rebounds per game.
