Kids and shopping don’t exactly go together. Between grabbing items off of shelves or refusing to stay buckled in a cart, shopping with kids can be a nightmare. It’s sort of ironic that while kids need a constantly revolving supply of clothes, toys, and other essentials, it’s not very easy to take kids out shopping. Luckily for parents with small children, many malls and outlets feature kids’ play areas to help the little ones get out some extra energy during shopping trips. With that in mind Houston Premium Outlets has just opened a brand-new play area to help parents and kids get through shopping days.
Houston Premium Outlets are one of Houston’s best shopping experiences, offering 145 name-brand and designer outlet stores including Armani Outlet, Burberry, Nike, and Kate Spade New York in a single-level, village-style design. The storefronts and buildings at Houston Premium Outlets feature a southwestern architectural theme to help highlight Texas culture and history, and the new kids’ play area continues that theme with a Texas-inspired design including a giant cowboy boot and hat, an armadillo, and a longhorn.
The new play area is constructed from soft rubber materials and features a wide variety of Texas-themed structures to allow children to jump, climb, slide, and release all that pent up energy they have to hold in while shopping. “We are very excited to announce this valued amenity at Houston Premium Outlets,” says Heidi MacMillan, Director of Marketing and Business Development at the outlets. “The new children’s play area is just one way to show that everything is bigger in Texas including this new play area and the way we enhance the shopping experience for parents and children alike.”
The new play area at Houston Premium Outlets is free and designed for kids 42” and under. The outlets are located just outside Houston at 29300 Hempstead Rd, Cypress, TX 77433.
