While the ongoing pandemic has forced many of us to change our holiday plans, there’s still plenty of fun to be had this holiday season, and at one exciting new attraction in Downtown Houston, they’re making sure Christmas is taken to a whole new level.
Hou-Ville is a brand new, totally quirky holiday attraction with a special Houston twist to it.
“Hou-Ville is a brand-new immersive holiday exhibit in Downtown Houston this holiday season,” event organizers said. “The new holiday experience will transform Live Nation’s 40 Below, into a [place] where kids and adults are transported to a life-size whimsical Holiday City.”
So, just what kind of things can you expect to do and see at this new limited-time event?
There will be tons of photo opportunities and activities all throughout the village, including Santa’s Houston Workshop and an Astro’s-themed Gingerbread House Bakery.
Visitors can also meet Santa Claus, shop at the unique Hou-Ville Gift Shop, and enjoy a number of other family-friendly attractions. You can also enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and coffee bars on Candy Cane Lane.
Special Precautions to Keep Guests Safe
In order to ensure everyone has a safe experience at this wonderful new holiday attraction, event organizers have instituted numerous measures, including operating at 40% of the venue’s capacity, requiring guests and staff to wear masks, placing a plexiglass banner between Santa and the kids, spacing the sets and exhibits 10 feet apart from each other, and disinfecting the premises regularly.
