The iconic songs from the famed singer-songwriter, James Taylor, will be performed during the “Live in Central Park-Revisited: James Taylor” concert at the Miller Outdoor Theatre. The music will be performed by Lee Lessack and Johnny Rodgers July 23rd.

How sweet it is to watch the songs of  James Taylor performed live. On July 23rd, watch as Lee Lessack and Johnny Rodgers perform beautifully rendered versions of the singer-songwriter’s most famous music for “Live in Central Park-Revisited: James Taylor,” a show that took place July 31, 1979. The duo will perform the classics from the ’70s concert, such as “Sweet Baby James” and “Carolina in My Mind.”

Having risen to fame in the ’70s, James Taylor’s music embodies the generation of musicians who wrote, composed, and performed their own music. His music will be brought to life by Broadway veteran and stage entertainer, Johnny Rodgers and Lee Lessack, a baritone vocalist whose albums are included in the world’s top recording artists in the Cabaret, Jazz, and Broadway genres.

Both musicians are internationally celebrated and have been dazzling audiences with their performances in both the United States and Europe for more than twenty years. For a taste of their combined musical talents, watch the duo perform “Here’s to You” in Los Angeles in 2011.
