Kenny Chesney makes his seventh appearance on the Star Stage at RODEOHOUSTON®. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, he was surrounded by country music from an early age. One of the most popular country musicians, Chesney has been topping the music charts since 1995. His 2002 release album No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems became the first of many albums to go quadruple platinum. First place. Over the past two decades, Chesney has become a regular chart-topping artist with many successful singles.

His first two Top 10 hits came from the album All I Need to Know, released in 1995, and a year later the following album Me and You became his first gold album. His biggest break was his 1999 release Everywhere We Go. This took off quickly, selling over two million copies and several tracks from the album became his number-one hits. Chesney released his Greatest Hits in 2000, making his album his second consecutive double platinum. During his long career, he has recorded over 20 albums of his, 15 of which have gone platinum, and worldwide he has sold over 30 million albums.

His latest album, Here and Now, released in 2020, is a fan favorite, and popular songs like “Everyone She Knows” and “Happy Does” are still frequently played on radio stations across the country. Chesney has collaborated with many artists over the years, including Kelsea Ballerini for Half of My Hometown and Pink for Setting The World On Fire. For all his success, it is no surprise that he has been nominated for multiple awards over his 50 times and won numerous awards.
