Labor Day in The Woodlands

Celebrate Labor Day at Waterway Square with live music, kid-friendly crafts, pie-eating contests, and a fireworks display to round out the night! The event will include complimentary face-painting and balloon art. Guests are allowed to bring lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, and picnic baskets. There will be booths to buy beverages. Masks are encouraged.

Fireworks at Kemah Boardwalk

Enjoy a free fireworks display on the boardwalk in honor of Labor Day. If you get to Kemah early, you can also enjoy free musical performances by Rapture (from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.) and Mango Punch (from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.). There’s also the option to buy a ticket for a cruise to watch the fireworks from the water for $40–the boat will leave at 9 p.m.

5th Annual Old Fashion Ice Cream Social at the Frank J. Brown Heritage Museum

Friendswood residents are invited to an old-fashioned ice cream social for the fifth year in a row. The event will include Blue Bell ice cream, lemonade, and cookies as well as live music by the River Music Trio at the Frank J. Brown Heritage Museum. During the event, a new mural will also be unveiled.

Labor Day Backyard BBQ Party at Market Square Park
