The free event allows Houstonians to wander the streets in Woodland Heights and enjoy the beautifully decorated homes. On Saturday, the city will close down Euclid and Byrne streets so that visitors can wander the streets without battling traffic. While that is the official route for this year, houses Woodland Heights Christmas lights can be seen throughout the neighborhood.
Although the official Lights in the Heights is this weekend, the Christmas lights in the Heights will be up for the remainder of the month. You can always take a walk through the neighborhood and view the extravagant displays.

Special Thanks to the Woodland Heights Community!
Lights in the Heights is put on by the Lights in the Heights committee, the Woodland Heights neighborhood, and local sponsors. This year they had just five weeks to prepare everything for the festival but they made it happen. You can support Lights in the Heights by purchasing official merchandise at the event.
Keep in mind that this is a family-friendly event and Woodland Heights is inviting us into their community. Be respectful of the neighborhood, don’t touch or take any decorations, and don’t forget that any private parties going on are not for public access.
