Looking to stream Houston Cougars Basketball live, without cable and for free? We have you covered!

After demolishing Cleveland State in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, The Houston Cougars survived a nail-biter Sunday evening with a 63-60 win over Rutgers. But a win’s a win, and the Cougars are headed to the Sweet 16!

There they will meet the streaking Syracuse Orange. An 11 seed, Syracuse shocked the field with wins over talented San Diego State and West Virginia teams. Led by Buddy Boeheim, son of legendary Orange coach Jim, Syracuse is playing its best basketball of the year.

The showdown between Boeheim and Houston star Quentin Grimes will be something to watch. Syracuse likes to make their games shootouts, challenging teams to shoot the three against them. Houston is happy to oblige, with one of the best offenses in the game. Furthermore, the Cougars are a tough defensive team that will make things difficult on The Orange.

The 5 day break between games should help Houston create a game plan to stop the momentum of the Orange. Currently, the Cougars sit as a six point favorite to advance to the Elite 8. But coach Boeheim is experienced in taking his team deep into the tournament. This has the potential to be the best game in the round of 16.

The game takes place this Saturday at 8:55pm on TBS.
