The longest-running American musical in Broadway history is coming to Houston, and we’ve got a deal on tickets you don’t want to miss. Chicago, the legendary multiple Tony Award-winning musical, will be at the Jones Hall for the Performing Arts in Houston this summer, and we’ve got a deal on tickets almost as hot as the singing and dancing in the musical itself. While they last, HOTC readers can see Chicago starting at just $30 – but you’d better hurry, because these tickets are sure to sell out.

Chicago is set during the “Roaring Twenties,” the height of the jazz age and vaudeville, and tells the tale of Roxie Hart, a chorus girl who murders her lover and is sent to a women’s prison. There, Roxie is pulled into the world of justice center corruption and celebrity criminals, a world delightfully juxtaposed with high-energy jazz and vaudeville numbers.

Chicago debuted in 1975 alongside tough competition from A Chorus Line, and while it was nominated for nearly every Tony Award category, those awards went to A Chorus Line. The musical was revived in 1996 when it took home five Tony Awards, a Grammy, and six Drama Desk Awards. The show has been performed and revived around the world for four decades, earning the distinction of longest-running American musical in Broadway history along the way. This touring edition is directed by Walter Bobbie and features all of the original music and high-energy dance numbers audiences have loved for decades.

Tickets to Chicago regularly range from $40.25 to $109, but HOTC readers can take advantage of a deal on tickets for just $30-60. Get them while they last!
