Learn more about the history of Galveston this Spring Break with a self-guided tour of the Bishop’s Palace (also known as Gresham House), which was built in 1892. It’s a contributing structure in the East End Historic District, which is a National Historic Landmark. The home is on the National Register of Historic Places because of its architectural significance on a national level. The Bishop’s Palace is considered one of the most important Victorian mansions in the country by architectural historians.
When: Daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Last ticket sold at 4 p.m. Please arrive by 4 p.m. to allow ample time for tours before closing.)
