The festival includes a seafood cook-off, gumbo tasting, L’il Shrimps Parade, live music, a children’s section, and a Strand merchant walkabout in addition to serving some of the greatest shrimp gumbo the Gulf Coast has to offer!

What: The 10th installment of Art in the Gardens will take place at Moody Gardens this weekend! For students with intellectual & cognitive disabilities who require special education, Art in the Gardens is a free school field trip event where they can express their creativity at interactive art stations. The Rainforest or the Aquarium Pyramid will be open at the designated time for students and their chaperones to visit. Participants will be spread out between the art stations and the attractions for the duration of their visit.

What: This free skateboarding best trick competition will be held this weekend at the Beach Access Ramp near 57th & Seawall. A beach clean-up, a new mural, and a skateboarding competition are all part of the event, so if you are interested in any of these activities, make sure to attend the event with your family and friends!
