Free Books To Celebrate National Literacy Month at Children’s Museum Houston

Children’s Museum Houston in partnership with Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation will provide free books to children in celebration of September National Literacy Month.  Phillips 66 volunteers will hand out the books donated by Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation. 

National Literacy Month encourages young people to pick up a good book and set sail on imaginary adventures.  

Who is eligible to get free books? 

Free books for children pre-K to fifth grade.  Limit one book per child and child must be present to receive book.  All visitors must have a ticket reservation to Free Family Night.  No walks ups will be admitted.

Free Books at Children’s Museum Houston – Event Details

When: Free Family Night Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, From 5 to 8 p.m. until books run out
