If you’re keen on attending an Opry-style music festival, Pearland is bringin’ it with a concert series to knock your boots off. Pearland Opry on the Square, in partnership with the Pearland Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, announces the second annual live concert series taking place on multiple Saturdays from Spring through Fall.
Following last year’s run away success, the Pearland music festival is back again with Opry-inspired acts. The concert series features four dates, beginning in April and winding down in November. Pearland Opry on the Square features major headliners as well as local and regional acts from across Southeast Texas.
A Free Outdoor Concert Series
This totally free event encourages attendees to pack the cooler and bring a lawn chair so you can kick back during the concert. The outdoor pavilion at Town Center features a green space latticed with walkways, seating areas, and water features. Enveloped by a cozy outdoor mall with quality shopping and restaurants, you can eat, shop, and play. It’s the perfect setting for an outdoorsy night of great music and fun.
Last year’s event featured a line up including The Voice contestant and vocalist Mary Sarah, Country singers Freddie Pate, Brian Black, local Richmond artist Moses Rangel, and more. This year’s showcase lineups will be announced closer to show dates. One thing is for sure- it’s certain to make you want to pull on your boots and two-step the night away!
Kicking Off in April
The big show kicks off Saturday, April 28 at 7 pm. Parking and admission are free but be sure to get there early to secure a spot for your lawn chairs. The first event of the concert series features repeat performances by Mary Sarah and Tori Vourganas. Waylon Henley, Robyn Mundy, Randy Meadows, and Missy Brown will also be appearing. From Western Swing to contemporary country, covers to originals, this is a true Texas Opry.
Multiple Show Dates
The concert series will be held on Saturdays at Town Center in Pearland. You can get your Opry-style music fix on any of the following dates from 7-9 pm:
