THE NEW EXHIBIT at Houston’s Health Museum sounds so intriguing…  See this special exhibit for only $3 each Thursday during The Health Museum’s free admission day from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.  “Backyard Monsters: The World of Insects” features gigantic, robotic bugs throughout the museum.  How about an 11-ft tarantula?  Or a monarch butterfly with wings spanning 19 ft.?  The new exhibit includes interactive learning displays along with one of the world’s largest private specimen collections. Visitors can tour the 6,000-ft. exhibit and learn all about the creatures in their own backyard.  Full-price admission runs $8/adults and $6/kids ages 3-12.  The Health Museum is open for a special day Monday, President’s Day, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. This exhibit will be on location through May 9.
