What better way to spend a Saturday in the fall than walking along a lake and enjoying some incredible, local art? Artisans and artists from all across the Houston area will be showcasing their work at the SiennArt Festival in Sienna in Missouri City on Saturday, November 2. Admission is free, so grab your friends and fellow art lovers and get ready for a casual yet cultured weekend by the water!
Art, food, wine, and music await you at the SiennArt Festival on Sawmill Lake in Sienna. The event begins at 10 a.m., and the fun will continue until 4 p.m. A diverse array of art will be on display, including ceramics, drawings, glass, jewelry, metal, sculpture, and all kinds of paintings. Watercolors, oil, acrylic – you name it, it’ll be there! You can review the expansive list of participating artists on the event website.
In addition to demonstrating their unique talents, participating artists will be competing for the coveted Best of Show prize. Esteemed artist Anita Nelson will be judging the field. But you won’t just see seasoned artists and artisans at SiennaArt. Gifted student artists will also be presenting their work at the festival. Make sure to stop by the student art tent to cast you vote in the People’s Choice competition.
You’re sure to work up an appetite taking in all this beauty and art. Lucky for you, several food trucks will be on-site to feed your cravings. Vendors include Friohana, French Quarter, American Lobster, Tu Go Kitchen, and Rich Boy Po Boy. Delicious!
