Children's Museum of Houston

The summers are upon us, flustered Moms and Dads everywhere are racking their brains to find the perfect summer activity to keep the little ones busy. Well…we have the perfect solution that will not only keep the kids happy but squeeze in some fun learning too. The Children’s Museum Houston is all set to reopen for summer 2021,  on June 8, Tuesday, with a fantastic list of events including “Fun Summer Vibes”-a “tropi-cool” paradise destination for families to switch to vacation mode and make a splash.

The museum will reopen at limited capacity after a year-long hiatus just in time for the end of the school year with adequate COVID-19 protocols in place. The Museum will be open from Tuesday through Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Free Family Night Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.)

What to Expect At The Children’s Museum Houston in Summer 2021

Plenty of interactive activities, live demonstrations, and thrilling performances are in store at the Children’s Museum. Be sure to grab an icy treat and catch live science demonstrations–like how to transform dirty water into clean water at the BASF Kids’ workshop. The “Sights Unseen” exhibition, an immersive experience of colors, darkness and light of the unseen world, and the Robo-Surgery interactive exhibit will debut on the day of reopening. Let the good vibes roll as you dance your socks off at the DJ dance party!
