the hiding place

If you’re looking for a night out at the theater at a reasonable price, you won’t want to miss the A.D. Players’ performance of “The Hiding Place” at The George Theater. Set during World War II, you’ll be enthralled by the storytelling while also learning about history. And you can’t beat the prices – tickets start at only $20.

Based on a book by the same name, “The Hiding Place” is the story of Corrie ten Boom and her family. They make the courageous decision to hide Jews from the Nazis before ultimately being discovered. It’s a story that will remind you of the amazing, selfless acts people are capable of in the face of incredible darkness, adversity, and evil.

Given the subject matter, this show is recommended for theatergoers 12 years and older.

This is a new stage adaptation of the book, and the A.D. Players are sure to deliver. The book was adapted for the stage by playwright A.S. Peterson, and it boasts an impressive cast that’s sure to bring the story to life every night.

Previews are Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 11 and 12. The regular run begins on Friday, Sept. 13 and ends on Sunday, Oct. 13.

The A.D. Players will be performing five days a week at the following times:

  • Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
  • Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m.

Depending on where you want to sit, tickets start as low as $20. The theater is small and intimate, so there’s not a bad seat in the house.
