It is usually held the first weekend in December. The Dickens on The Strand celebration includes parades and nonstop entertainment on four stages.

Dickens on The Strand is based on 19th-century Victorian London. A variety of holiday-themed gifts, food and beverages, crafts made in the Victorian style, apparel, jewelry, and holiday decorations are all sold by costumed sellers from street stalls and rolling carts.
