There will be a cocktail menu, great food, Sinatra and jazz music, themed events, and a beautiful 1920s mob-themed venue. The cocktails and food menu items feature names of prominent real-life gangsters and your favorite wise guys from movies.

Battleship Texas Dry Dock Tours

What: Get to see Battleship Texas up close and out of the water! Every Sunday until April 30th, there will be limited tours on the dry dock at Gulf Copper. It will be around an hour-long walk and space will be limited. Also, there is a strict dress code. You have to wear full-length pants and close-toed shoes with good traction. Hard hats and eye protection will be provided on-site. The tour is also for those only 16 years old and above. And you have to sign up online since no tickets will be sold at the gate.

What: This Sunday, the peppers and meowers will be taking center stage for Mardi Gras with the Krewe of Barkus and Meoux Parade! Get to see them strut around the island in their best garb and cheer for your favorite king and queen pups. If you want to join, check-in and on-site registration will be at 21st and Harborside at Pier 21 at noon. Proceeds from this event will support community programs including spay/neuter assistance, emergency care, and vaccination and microchip clinis.

A Cat’s Eye View Balcony Party

What: Get a pretty good viewing point for those spectacular Mardi Gras parades with the 6th Annual “A Cat’s Eye View” balcony party! It will be on the second floor of the Trolley Station Building. Here, you’ll get to watch the Krewe of Barkus and Meoux Parade, the Shriners’ Hospital for Children and Sunshine Kids Parade, and the Firefighters Children’s Parade.

You’ll also get light appetizers, one free drink ticket, a cash bar, and music. There will also be kids’ activities including face painting in the kid’s area.
