The Grand 1894 Opera House Presents “The Stepcrew”

What: Debuting on the stage of The Grand Opera House this weekend is “The Stepcrew” which is composed of the world’s top performers on the current Celtic music scene. And they’ll be debuting three incredible dance forms: Ottawa Valley stepdance, Irish stepdance, and Tap. The performance will also feature three world-class fiddlers, backed by an outstanding five-piece ensemble made up of world-class musicians.

Pirates Beach Steps for Pets at Pirates Beach

Galveston’s Trinity Cemetery Tour

Wander through the beautiful Trinity Episcopal Cemetery while hearing stories from the past and enjoying the beautiful sculptures from artists all around the world.
You’ll be hosted by Kathleen Maca, a local historian and writer. She’ll be introducing you to some of Galveston’s former citizens from heroes to villains and even give you insights into Victorian symbolism used on the gravestones. The meeting spot will be at the Historic Broadway Cemetery District.

Enjoy everything library at this weekend’s Rosenberg Day! There will be a library scavenger hunt, live music, food trucks, face painting, and plenty of other fun activities all around. The winners of the new Rosenberg Library card designs will also be unveiled. Catch all the celebrations at the Library block of Sealy between 23rd and 24th street.
