Veteran’s Day 5k Run/Walk

What: Join the US Coast Guard Base Galveston and US Coast Guard Station Freeport as they host the first Veteran’s Day Fundraiser Walk/Run on Porretto Beach. This will aid in raising awareness of and money for three nonprofit veterans foundations that assist service members who are coping with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other invisible wounds. Parking will cost $5, but all proceeds will go to the veteran foundations.
