Fomento Cultural Citibanamex, POST Houston, and NViVo.us are collaborating on the Great Masters art exhibit, an exhibition made up of Mexican masterpieces. The collection gathers the works of Remigio Mestas, Carlomagno Pedro, and Jacobo and María Ángeles, three of the most iconic artists (or artistic duos), to give audiences a foundation in Mexican art that helps them better understand the richness of Mexican folk art and history.

47th Annual Houston Fishing Show at the George R. Brown
Fans of fishing will love the chance to see the latest and greatest in boats, coolers, and fishing rods at this five-day convention of all things fishing. Throughout the event, experts will be leading clinics on the sport, including special clinics for kids over the weekend, complete with prizes.

Paws on Parade at Discovery Green
Everybody with a well-socialized dog is invited to bring them to join in a 4-legged parade this Saturday. All dogs with an adult to lead them on the leash are welcome to join in. After the parade, dogs can enter a costume contest, where the best-dressed can win a cash prize. There will also be a sweepstakes drawing for dogs who walk in the parade to win prizes from dog-friendly vendors on site. Free Rads Street Trio will provide musical entertainment. The event will help raise funds to repair the dog runs at Discovery Green.

Houston Holi Festival
Celebrate Holi, the spring Festival of Colors, in grand fashion, with a live Bollywood concert, Bollywood and Indian folk dance performances, carnival rides, Holi Pragitya (or bonfires), Maha Aarti prayers, rickshaw rides, comedic performances, music, kids’ rides, and, of course, fun with colors all day long. An Uncommon Chevalier at the Hobby
Enjoy a concert composed by Joseph de Bologne, a knight who served Louis XV as a guard and became the favorite of Marie Antoinette in the 1770s. With a violin concerto from him, one of his contemporaries, and a symphony he commissioned, the audience will be transported to a pre-French Revolution concert hall for a taste of history before everything changed.

HMNS at Levy Park
