The City of Baytown is hosting a two-day 4th of July event this week! Expect a live music performance by Grammy-winning artists Sunny Sauceda, Siggno, and LeAnn Rimes. There will also be a parade and, of course, don’t forget about fireworks!

Shell Freedom Over Texas

4th of July Fireworks in Houston - Freedom Over Texas

This year’s Freedom Over Texas is an event filled with six hours of festivities, tradition, and live concert stages, along Allen Parkway. Freedom Over Texas will feature local, regional, and national entertainment and will be capped off with a musically choreographed, “Texas-sized” fireworks finale.

This event has become Houston’s annual signature July 4th celebration with an average of 50,000 people in attendance and is televised live in Houston. The event will solicit television affiliates from across the state of Texas to simulcast a portion of the event.

Freedom Over Texas will feature a unique non-profit component that joins forces with the Houston Food Bank to help fill an extraordinary demand in our regional community.

POST’s 4th of July Celebration on Skylawn

Celebrate the 4th of July on Skylawn with an incredible rooftop view of the City of Houston’s firework show “FREEDOM OVER TEXAS”. This event is free and open to the public for all ages. We will have live DJs, fireworks (visible from the lawn), games, delicious food, multiple bars on the roof, and more!

The City of Bellaire invites you to a Celebration of Independence Parade and Festival! The parade will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the festival.

     Parade – 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

          – The Parade will start at South Rice Ave. and Valerie St.

          – Children’s Bike Parade will start at South Rice Ave. and Evergreen St.

          – Both parades will end at South Rice Ave. and Linden St.

     Festival – starts after the Parade (approx. 9:30 am)

Enjoy food, music from a live band, and more! The festival will take place on the Great Lawn and in Loftin Park.
