Lunar New Year Celebration at Fort Bend County

The Lunar New Year celebration is not over yet! Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit at Fort Bend County this weekend with activities and crafts for the family and children of all ages. 

Dancing lions will kick off the celebration. Then, afterward, you can join in playing Cai Deng Mi or Guessing the Lantern’s Riddle and win a prize if the answer is correct. You can also learn about Chinese calligraphy but please take not, reservations will be needed for the workshop. You can also learn how to make “li xi” or red envelopes which are traditionally given on the first day of the Lunar New Year for good luck.
