A couple of weeks ago, the Harris County Toll Road Authority decided to no longer collect cash at the booth, allowing drivers to pay later on the Missed A Toll Website while waiving the administrative fee. Today, officials decided to take it one step further. For the next 30 days, the Harris County Commissioners have suspended tolls altogether on Harris County Toll Roads.
Tollways included are Hardy Toll Road, Westpark Tollway, and Beltway 8. This does not include Grand Parkway, Highway 99, or Metro HOV/HOT lanes. The toll suspension will last through April 29th.
