With the gorgeous weather we’re having right now, it’s the perfect time to get outside and enjoy a free concert with awesome music. That’s why you should check out the 8th Annual Tomball Bluegrass Festival — an event that offers great live music and a chance for pickers to jam and show off their talent with fellow attendees.
The music festival — which is 100% complete free — kicks off at noon on Saturday, Oct. 26, and runs through 6 p.m. Families are encouraged to bring their kids of all ages as the event will be totally family-friendly and offers entertainment and activities for all ages.
The fun takes place at Tomball’s Historic Downtown Depot, 201 S. Elm St. Feel free to bring your lawn chairs or blankets, so you can get comfortable and enjoy an afternoon of great live music.
The Tomball Bluegrass Festival is all about celebrating that old-style roots music with live performances by Pine Island Station, Chris Hirsch & The Lone Star Bluegrass Band, Vintage Sounds and more.
There will be plenty of food vendors on hand. And if your kids are looking for something to do while you enjoy the live music, send them over to the kids’ zone for a bevy of fun activities.
The festival also serves up an opportunity for musicians — from guitarists to fiddlers and everything in between — to circle up underneath the Shade Tree and create some music with other Bluegrass lovers. So, make sure to bring your instrument!
Don’t forget — admission and parking are absolutely free, making this the ultimate budget-friendly activity this weekend. Bring the whole family and all your friends for a day full of fun!
