This weekend, Houston’s own Traders Village is hosting the annual West Houston Church of Christ Garage Sale to help benefit the church’s work with the needy. If you love hunting for a bargain or finding that rare piece of vintage clothing or furniture, this is your chance to score a great deal for a good cause.
Members of the Church of Christ have been donating and collecting items from their attics, garages, and wherever else all year for sale in the Garage Sale. There’s going to be a wide selection of products to browse. Everything will sell at some price, so head over and score yourself a great bargain.
The Church of Christ Garage Sale is happening two days only: Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10 at Traders Village. The event runs from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm both days and is completely open and free to the public. Just remember to bring $4 for parking!
Once you’ve scored some great deals on some hidden treasures at the Church of Christ Garage Sale, feel free to stroll through Traders Village to find out why the open-air shopping destination is one of Houston’s most popular attractions. Traders Village spans over 150 acres and features thousands of vendors offering everything under the sun at bargain prices. It’s the largest weekend flea market in Texas, and they truly have everything you can think of for sale.
One-of-a-kind shopping isn’t everything Traders Village has to offer, though; there are also food and drink vendors, amusement park-style rides ($9.99 plus tax gets you an all-day rides pass), and more. It’s easy to spend a whole day at this Texas-sized marketplace, especially with their $9.99 unlimited rides wristband.
