When it comes to the latest business promotion featuring Travis Scott, the Houston-born rapper is loving it.
Scott and his label Cactus Jack have teamed up with McDonald’s to sell a special, limited-time meal now through Oct. 4, marking the fast food chain’s first celebrity partnership since its deal with Michael Jordan in the 1990s.
So, what’s the Travis Scott Meal going to look like? It’s a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon and lettuce; a side of fries, a Sprite, and barbecue dipping sauce. The 630 calorie meal will run you $6.
“I couldn’t be more excited to bring the Cactus Jack x McDonald’s collaboration to life,” Scott said in a statement. “We are bringing together two iconic worlds.”
If the Travis Scott Burger is not enough for you, the rapper is taking the collaboration a step further. On his website, he’s selling dozens of McDonald’s-branded merchandise, including a $90 chicken nugget pillow. And here’s the kicker: people are buying it.
“Travis is the first in a suite of big celebrities that resonate across segments and are true fans of our food and our brand,” McDonald’s US CMO Morgan Flatley remarked in a memo obtained by Business Insider. “We can’t wait to share the rest of the lineup in due time.”
You can get the Travis Scott Meal at Mcdonald’s right now through October 4.
