trees for houston

Could your place of residence use the addition of a tree? On January 9th, Trees For Houston will be giving away free trees to the community members who show up first.

This event will take place from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. and is open to the public. The organization will be hosting this giveaway at its future home, located at 2001 W. 34th Street, Houston, Texas 77018.

Trees For Houston is an organization interested in the planting, protection, and promotion of trees. Its mission is to share awareness about trees, specifically the positive impact they have on our environment and communities. Catering to the Houston area, the organization’s message is spread locally with the intention of creating a broader understanding.

This giveaway presented by Trees For Houston will include several species of three-gallon trees. Although these species are not listed, visitors can expect to see an exciting selection. If you plan on visiting, make sure to bring a mask and be mindful of CDC guidelines. This outdoor event will be socially distanced and contact-free.

Show your support for Trees For Houston by stopping by its new location on Saturday afternoon! You’ll be able to take home a tree and help your community grow in one fell swoop.
