Via Colori is one of my favorite fall events in Houston. I marvel at the creativity and colorful world the chalk artists create right on the downtown streets. But unfortunately, it’s so temporary.
This amazing annual event is celebrating its 12th year as a street festival fundraiser for The Center for Hearing and Speech. Held November 18-19, it features 200 artists creating street chalk art, live music and family-friendly entertainment, kids’ craft zones, interactive activities, and more both days. Kids can create their own 2 ft. square chalk masterpiece for a $10 donation.
The collection of 200 artists this year feature many local artists as well as folks who traveled from other states and countries. Don’t miss the 3D chalk art designs, which are always my favorite!
Tickets for admission are good for both days! Buy online in advance for $7 through November 19. Tickets are $10 at the door. Free general admission is available to children age 17 and under plus college students with valid ID. Buy tickets online here.
Enhance your festival experience with VIP Lounge. Your ticket provides exclusive lounge access, complimentary food and drinks+ mini events all day. Admission is $40 online, which includes festival admission. 100% of ticket sales benefit The Center for Hearing and Speech.
