About Woodforest Near Houston – A Master Planned Community With a Small Town Feel

Woodforest Community started with a dream by Johnson Development Corp.’s award-winning developers. They envisioned a new master-planned community with a small-town vibe, complete with top-notch amenities and magnificent homes tailored to the needs of inhabitants at all phases of life.

They chose 3,000 acres of woodland area adjoining the Woodforest Golf Club in South Montgomery County as the location for their project. They were keen to build a seductive hideaway among the trees while respecting the natural beauty of the surrounding forest.

Today residents of Woodforest enjoy biking along miles of picturesque trails, dining and shopping at The Shops at Woodforest, resting by the pool, visiting the community by golf cart, or hitting the links at the prestigious Woodforest Golf Club
Homes in Woodforest are priced from the mid $200,000s to more than $1 million. Learn more at www.woodforesttx.com
