Gear up for the excitement, as you are invited to Woodlands Children’s Museum 11th birthday celebration. On July 9, the museum celebrates another successful year of its fruitful journey. It was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 2001 and then moved to the Panther Creek Village Center in 2010. So, it is the 11th year at this location, which calls for an anniversary celebration with several fun-filled activities for its audience.

The event features an award-winning theater performance, a chance to meet a unicorn princess, enjoy stories, create a paper cupcake art project, and share a birthday cake on this event that’s very special for the museum.

The princess will arrive on the stage at 11:45 AM, 12:45 PM, 1:45 PM, and 2:45 PM. Children can meet her and click a photograph with her during these timings. At noon, children will enjoy a special story time reading of Happy Birthday, Cupcake! with Terry Border. Happy Birthday, Cupcake! is a whimsical story featuring various food items as characters.

Also, children can create paper cupcakes throughout the day with museum staff in the Muse Art Bar. In addition, guests also will get a small piece of birthday cake donated by H-E-B while they exit the museum and while the stock lasts.

Woodlands Children’s Museum Timings

The museum remains open for extended summer hours including,

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10 AM to 2 PM
  • Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays: 10 AM to 4 PM

The event offers a limited number of tickets for a safe and delightful experience. Tickets cost $7 for adults and children over age one. The admission includes birthday celebration activities. To buy tickets, click here.
