With the NFL season in the rearview mirror, many sports fans are already missing their football. Well, we have good news for you — the XFL season kicks off on February 8, 2020, and it should scratch your itch for gridiron action.

The XFL is a new American football league that is comprised of 8 teams from around the country, including one right here in Houston (the Roughnecks). The regular season takes place on the weekends over ten weeks. Following the regular season, there’s a week for the playoffs and then finally the championship. From start to finish, the XFL full season will last from Saturday, February 8 to Sunday, April 26. Games will air on a variety of local and cable channels including ABC, FOX, ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, and FS2. You won’t need cable to watch any of these games, though. In fact, you should be able to watch the XFL online for free or at least on the cheap, throughout the entire season!
