Tuesday (2/28) — Engage in Tai Chi Tuesday mornings, 9 am, in Katy. This slow and gentle exercise — perfect for all levels– is a Chinese exercise system that uses slow body movements to achieve a state of relaxation. Located at Central Green Park, 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd.

Tuesday (2/28) — Don’t miss Rodeo Round Up Tuesday, 11 am, when the City of Houston kicks off the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo at City Hall. The free event offers a chance to hear live music by the Rodeo Choir, take your pic on a Longhorn steer, meet show volunteers representing more than 100 committees and hear the Mayor’s Go Texas Day proclamation. Tuesday (2/28) — The Square at Memorial City is hosting a free Fat Tuesday event February 28, 6 pm – 8 pm. Dance to live music, get free Mardi Gras beads, and don’t miss gumbo by State Fair Kitchen & Bar. Located at 303 Memorial City Way between Cheesecake Factory and Maggiano’s.

Wednesday (3/1) — It’s the first Wednesday of the month, which is a treat for music lovers! Enjoy a free lunchtime concert, A Little Day Music, by Da Camera Society in the Wortham Theater Center lobby at noon. It features music by Rachmaninov, Beethoven and more. Wednesday (3/1) — Enjoy a free story time for preschoolers at Nature Story Time with a variety of fun beginning at 4 pm: live animals, puppets, short nature walks, crafts or songs and nature stories. Located at 7112 Newcastle.
