Tuesday (5/16) — Get ready for fun at Circus Arts, Tuesdays at 6 pm. This free weekly class features ground arts and ground acrobatics such as contortion/flexibility, low tight wire, partner acrobatics, juggling and hand balancing. Circus Arts is taught by instructors from Cirque la Vie Tuesdays from 6 pm – 8 pm. Located at Discovery Green, 1500 McKinney.

Wednesday (5/17) — Wellness Wednesdays return to GreenStreet downtown Wednesdays at 6:30 am. Not only will you be doing your body good but also save $1 off your next salad or wrap at Salata! Located on The Lawn at GreenStreet, 1201 Fannin.

Wednesday (5/17) — Central Library hosts Midday Movie and a Meal Wednesday from noon – 2 pm. This week’s movie is Split, an original thriller that delves into the mysterious recesses of one man’s fractured, gifted mind. Lunch is provided. Outside food and non-alcoholic drinks are accepted. Located at 500 McKinney.

Wednesday (5/17) — Don’t miss the free Lightweight Backpacking Basics course geared to women at REI Willowbrook. An REI backpacking expert will provide tips on lightweight backpacking techniques as well as shelters, backpacks, food choices, and fuel efficiency. Located at 17717 Tomball Parkway.

Thursday (5/18) — Enjoy seven museums for free each Thursday in Houston’s Museum District. {The Weather Museum is relocating and temporarily closed, but is usually an 8th free museum on Thursdays.}

Friday (5/19) — Toddlers will love Parachute Play Time with Gymboree Play & Music Friday from 10 am to noon. Located at CityCentre, 800 Town & Country Blvd.
