Get ready to see red this weekend! The Strawberry Festival in Pasadena is back this weekend and it promises to be lots of fun! The Pasadena Strawberry Festival is a three-day event held annually on the third weekend in May to celebrate a time when Pasadena, Texas was known as “The Strawberry Capital Of The South”.
Events include crowd favorites like the BBQ Cook-off, Car & Truck Show, Beauty Pageant, Live Music Concerts and lots more! Kids and adults alike can look forward to the petting zoo, gelly ball fights and the very popular Gator Country event! Also, don’t forget to check out the biggest strawberry shortcake in the world!
The Pasadena Strawberry Festival’s mission is to produce a large event to help support nonprofits, to help give opportunities to students to further their education through our scholarship program, and to preserve and celebrate the history of Pasadena Texas.

– Saturday, May 21: 10:00 AM to midnight
– Sunday, May 22: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Ticket prices:
– General admission: $15
– Children aged 6-12: $5
– Children 5 and under: FREE
– Seniors 65 and older: $5
– 3-day weekend pass: $30

This year’s Cook Off will be held Friday and Saturday, May 20th and 21st, at the Pasadena Strawberry Festival. The Cook-Off is always one of the Festival’s most popular events, and everyone is looking forward to seeing all of the Cook Teams, both new and returning, and can’t wait for an awesome weekend!

The Pasadena Strawberry Festival is proud to announce the 49th Annual Beauty Pageant competition on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 6 PM at the Pasadena Fair Grounds, inside Campbell Hall. Competition winners will have the opportunity to represent the Pasadena Strawberry Festival in various youth and family events. This “natural” pageant is open to female contestants from the South Texas area for ages 3 months to 25 years old.

Great American Entertainment Petting Zoo at Pasadena Strawberry Festival

Great American Entertainment Petting Zoo will be returning to the Pasadena Strawberry Festival on May 20-22, 2022 for another great experience. The zoo contains a wide variety of animals including Llamas, Fallow Deer, Wallabies, Goats, Potbellied Pigs and much more.
