At Bayou Bend Summer History Camp, kids become blacksmiths, make candles, play colonial games, write with quill pens, wear 18th-century clothes, and more! The camp’s curriculum encourages campers to think about multiple perspectives on history, and form opinions based on questions and discovery through participation.

Designed for students entering or exiting 5th grade, this week-long program at Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens culminates in a special presentation for family and friends. Each one-week session runs Monday–Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
