AMC Theatres is hosting its Best Picture Showcase 2013 Oscar Nominees again this year over two weekends. If you’re not familiar, the showcase features four Oscar-nominated movies on February 16 and the other five Oscar-nominated movies on February 23. That’s a lot of movies in one day!
In Houston, participating AMC Theaters are First Colony 24, Katy Mills 20, Gulf Pointe 30, and Willowbrook 24. Follow this AMC link to find all participating AMC theaters. Tickets are on sale now online: $30 for February 16 (4 movies), $40 for February 23 (5 movies) or $60 for a two-day pass (9 movies).
Houston is one of 11 locations sponsoring the 24-hour marathon event February 23 at Studio 30 (2949 Dunvale) showing all nine movies. Buy $60 tickets online or at the box office directly.
