Calling all car lovers — Traders Village Houston is hosting two different car shows in one supersized weekend this October. Both events will have free entry (just pay $5 for parking) and will offer safe outdoor fun for the whole family!
The 5th Annual Dream Fest Car Show
The fun starts on Saturday, October 3rd with the 5th Annual Dream Fest Car Show.
This popular annual show will feature gorgeous cars of all makes and models with over 50 prizes being handed out throughout the day in categories that include Top 25, Best Wheels, Best Paint, Best Motor, Best Theme, Best Interior, and more. The public will have the chance to vote on the Top 25 category while a panel of judges will determine the winners for other categories.
But that’s not all — there will be raffles all throughout the day, giving you a chance to win cash money! The 50/50 raffles will ensure that 50% of the money from tickets sold will go to help a needy family while the other 50% will be split between 2 raffle winners.
If you have a car you want to show, you can participate in the Dream Fest Car Show as well! There will be a registration fee to show your car (registration ends promptly at noon), but spectating is totally free.

The Annual Village Art Car Show Rolls in Sunday
The fun continues on Sunday when the Village becomes a canvas for beautiful pieces of art on wheels.
The Annual Village Art Car Show hosted by the Houston Art Car Klub (HACK) will feature some of the most creative, eye-catching vehicles with unique paint jobs, build-outs, and themes.
“Art Cars are a relatively new art form only coming to the forefront in the past 20 years. They all have one thing in common, to take a factory-made automobile or truck and transform it into a personal statement or expression. Everyone will love the feeling of family and community, plus the color and pageantry of the art car displays, so bring your camera,” the Traders Village website says.
The Art Car Show takes place Sunday, October 4th from 10 am to 4 pm under the Gray Expo. Entry is free to the public, but you do have to pay $5 for parking.
