Bombay Delight is a restaurant that specializes in Bombay-style Indian street food, along with some dishes from southern India, Punjab, and Gujarat. The butter chicken, pani puri, and malai kofta are all customer favorites. You can expect large serving sizes, especially on side orders of naan and basmati rice, so you’ll probably be taking home some leftovers. Nirmanz Restaurant offers a lot of Indian food staples like butter chicken, lamb korma, and paneer tikka masala. The menu also has Bombay wok dishes, such as chicken hakka noodles and chicken lollipop in chili garlic sauce, that make it stand out as a great place to get both authentic street food and fusion cuisine. Other standouts are the Thai tea and coconut ice cream, which customers swear are some of the best in the city.

A Sugar Land staple for over 20 years, Corelli’s Italian Café has large booths, a bricked-in patio, and plenty of classic Italian offerings. Homemade Parmesan breadsticks, salads and antipasti, pecan-crusted salmon, and, of course, so, so much pasta make up the menu. You can get lasagna, ravioli, scampi, manicotti, etc. Plus, you can follow the meal up with some tiramisu. Expect to have your fill of carbs while you’re here: it’s hard to eat light at Corelli’s. You can request gluten-free pasta for a fee, although it’s a bit pricier than you might see elsewhere.

The Rouxpour is a New Orleans-inspired restaurant that serves oysters, crawfish, shrimp étouffée,  po’boys, and more. With locations all around Houston, this upscale chain is well-loved for its fresh and flavorful seafood offerings. Crab omelettes, seafood bisque, and margaritas with a twist are all favorites. Customers also rave about the consistently top-notch service, even when the restaurant is at its busiest. Check out happy hour for a good deal.

You can also check out the biryani and the chicken chargha from the Desi section of their menu, in which case you may want to get an order of lassi (a yogurt-based drink) to help handle the spice.
