Outdoor Adventures: Things To Do with Kids in Missouri City

Community Park

Community Park is Missouri City’s largest public park, covering 107 acres of open green space.

The park has a nine-hole disc golf course, a fun and easy activity the whole family can try together, no experience needed.

The park sits alongside a 3-acre fishing lake stocked with catfish, so you can bring the kids for a relaxed afternoon by the water. Kids under 17 don’t need a fishing license to fish here. For older kids who love skating, there’s also an on-site skatepark.

Add soccer fields, basketball courts, a sand volleyball court, a walking trail, and an open-air amphitheater into the mix, and you and the family can easily fill a whole day here.

While the kids cool off, you’ve got a covered playground, basketball courts, and a 1.2-mile walking trail to keep everyone moving. The splash pad runs seasonally through the warmer months, so plan your visit before the season winds down.

The splash pad runs seasonally from late spring through summer, so make the most of it while it’s open.
