What: Discover what kinds of birds are in the island whie enjoying a beautiful walk around the 3.6 mile Moody Gardens property. The place will be a combination of intertidal saltmarsh, upland marsh, and woodlot so you’ll definitely see plenty of birds in their natural habitats. And while you’ll mainly be using paved pathways with manicured landscape areas, you’ll also be walking through marsh habitat where you’ll encounter higher grass and possibly moist/ muddy conditions. Please remember to wear the proper attire and to bring sunscreen, bug spray, and binoculars.
