White Linen Night pays tribute to the long-standing New Orleans tradition of wearing white clothing while gathering outdoors during the summer.

All festivities take place within the heart of the League City Historic District, centered around the beautiful League Park.

League City brings its own twist to the event with White Linen Night: An Art Affair, a celebration of art and history set in the heart of the Historic District. Here, you can your family can enjoy an evening filled with art, food, and live music under the shade of League City’s iconic oak trees.

Guests are encouraged to wear white linen and enjoy a relaxed, creative night out with family and friends.

A Showcase of Local Talent

The event features hundreds of local artists and makers. As you stroll through the district, you can find:

  • Live art demonstrations – Watch artists create in real time as they bring paintings and other works to life throughout the evening.
  • Live music performances – Enjoy a mix of local musicians adding energy and atmosphere across the Historic District.
  • 100 artist booths – Browse and shop a wide range of original artwork, handcrafted pieces, and creative goods from local and regional artists.
  • Houston Art Cars display – See some of Houston’s most imaginative and uniquely designed vehicles up close, each one turning transportation into moving art.
  • Interactive Kid Zone at League Park – Children can join guided art activities designed to spark creativity, including abstract watercolors, tissue paper flower-making, silk screening, mini-kite building, and rock painting.

Food, Drinks & Local Flavors

No festival is complete without local eats. Guests can enjoy:

  • 10 food trucks on site – Enjoy a variety of options from savory bites to sweet treats while you explore the event.
  • Beer, wine, and cider selections – Grab a drink from designated vendors and enjoy it as you stroll through the Historic District.
  • Casual outdoor dining experience – Relax under the oak trees while sampling local flavors and taking in the festival atmosphere.

If you start feeling a little too hot from the summer heat, you can find cooling stations throughout the venue. There will also be water bottles available throughout the event in various booths and stations.

    The Historic District transforms into an open-air arts celebration framed by towering 100-year-old oak trees.     The all-white dress code shapes the visual identity of the night. Planning makes it easier to enjoy White Linen Night without stress. Parking is limited in the Historic District, so guests should use the designated options and shuttle services.

Parking & Shuttle Information

  • No parking at League Park – Parking will not be available at League Park lots during the event.
  • Limited Historic District parking – Spaces in the Historic District are extremely limited and fill up quickly.
  • Free parking at League City Elementary – Guests can park at League City Elementary (520 East Walker Street) and access the event from there.
  • Shuttle service available (4–8 p.m.) – Free shuttles run throughout the event from: City Municipal Complex (300 West Walker Street)
  • Easy access to the event – Shuttle routes connect directly to the Historic District for convenient drop-off and pickup.

Make a weekend of the event by staying close to the action. Local hotels and waterfront resorts offer a comfortable base just minutes from the Historic District, with easy access to dining and nearby attractions.
