MLK Day 2025 Celebrations Today in Houston
The city of Houston is preparing to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a series of events, including the MLK Parade Houston hosts every year. This year marks a significant milestone with the 47th Annual Original MLK Jr. Parade, a long-standing tradition that showcases the city’s commitment to honoring Dr. King’s dream of equality and justice.

Missouri City & Vicinity Branch NAACP MLK Breakfast

On Monday morning, the Missouri City and Vicinity Branch chapter of the NAACP will be hosting a Martin Luther King breakfast at the Knanaya Catholic Community Center in Missouri City.

47th Annual Original MLK Jr. Parade

Join Rice University in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy at the annual MLK Parade Houston. Proudly participate with a festive parade float and a lively walking group featuring The MOB, the renowned Rice University Marching Owl Band. I recommend getting there early. Spots fill up quickly.

31st Annual MLK Grande Parade
