DINING

Applebee’s– There are just a few Applebee’s left in Houston and each decides whether or not they offer the Golden Apple Card. Just ask for one when you place your order and get 15% off.

Arby’s– Each location offers their own senior discounts so ask before you order. Seniors should receive 10% off at participating locations.

Ben & Jerry’s– For those ages 60+, select Ben & Jerry’s locations offers a senior discount of 10% off.

Boston Market– Be sure to verify before you order but Boston Market offers a 7% discount for Seniors.

Burger King– If you are 60 years or older, you may get up to 10% off at select Burger King locations. Each operation decides their own discounts so be sure to ask before you order.

Chili’s– Ask your server about their Senior discounts! Each location’s discounts vary but some offer 10% off for those 55 and older.

Cici’s Pizza– Each Cici’s Pizza is individually owned so you’ll have to ask which discounts they offer before you order. However, a 10% off for those 60 and older is offered at most locations.

Dairy Queen– Some DQ locations offer 10% off to seniors who are 60+ but you’ll have to ask before you order.

Dunkin’ Donuts– Each location is independently owned and operated so you’ll have to verify the discount before you place your order. Some locations offer 10% off or a free coffee.

iHOP– The famous pancake restaurant takes it a step further and offers a discounted menu just for seniors! You must be 55+ to order from it.

Jack in the Box– Ask for the Senior discount and you could get up to 20% off. Discounts vary by location so be sure to ask before you order.

McDonald’s– McDonald’s offers a discount on coffee. Only select locations offer the discount so be sure to ask before you order.

Outback Steakhouse– Go for lunch or dinner and you can get 10% off! This deal is only good for AARP members.

Subway– Each location is individually owned and operated but there’s no harm in asking! Many Subway locations offer a 10% discount to seniors.

Wendy’s– This burger chain offers a 10% discount to folks over 55. Each location varies in offers so ask before you order.

Whataburger– For card-carrying AARP members over 55 years, ask for the senior deals and you should get a free soft drink.

 

SHOPPING

Dress Barn– At select locations, seniors can receive 10% off their total sale. Be sure to verify the deal before you check out, not all locations participate.

Goodwill– Every Tuesday is 10% off for Seniors! Goodwill locations may vary by day or time so check before you go.

Joann’s Fabrics– Go on Senior Discount Days, and you’ll get an extra 20% off your total sale. You must present your ID and be 55 years old or better. Plus, this includes sales items!

Kohl’s– Every Wednesday in store, Kohl’s offers a senior discount for those aged 60 and better. Ask for the discount and get 15% off.

Michael’s– Unlike other retail stores, Michael’s proudly advertises their Senior discount. For those 55 and better, you can get 10% off of your entire purchase every day. This offer does not apply to items already on sale. Just present your driver’s license at check out.

Ross Stores– At select locations, ask for a senior discount and you may receive 10% off. Only select stores participate so ask before you go.

Walgreen’s– Walgreen’s offers two ways for Seniors to save. If you have an AARP card, you can get discounts every day. For all other Seniors, sign up for Balance Rewards, fill in your date of birth and email, and you’ll get discount info sent to your email!

 

ENTERTAINMENT

Alley Theater– Catch a live stage performance at the Alley Theater any time for just $29. Ticket discounts are not valid on opening night. Otherwise, just purchase online with the code SENIOR.

AMC Theaters– All seniors aged 60 and older receive a discount on movie tickets. Regular price is $14.99, Seniors pay just $13.49.

Bayou Bend Collections & Garden– Visit Houston’s most beautiful gardens and Seniors 65 and better get a discount on prices! Regular admission is $12.50 for adults but Seniors pay just $11.

Buffalo Soldiers National Museum– General admission to this museum is $10 per person but Seniors 60 or better get in for just $5!

Cinemark Theaters– Don’t miss Senior Days at Cinemark Theaters where you can watch any movie, any show time, all day long with a discount! Each location has it’s own schedule of Senior Days, just check out their website and search by zipcode.

Children’s Museum of Houston (TEMPORARILY CLOSED)– Take your grand-kids to the Children’s Museum of Houston and your ticket will be $1 off. Regular admission is $12 so Seniors pay just $11.

Downtown Aquarium– Regular admission is $13.99 for adults but Seniors will pay just $11.99!

Houston Holocaust Museum– Get an up-close taste of history with a visit to the new and improved Holocaust Museum. This is one of the best museums in Houston and they offer a $5 discount for Seniors. Regular price is $15, Seniors pay just $10.

Houston Museum of Fine Art– One of the best museums in Houston offers a variety of discounts, including a senior discount! For those 65+, admission is $3 off. Regular admission is $17 per person, seniors are just $14.

Houston Museum of Natural Science– This awesome museum has tons of things to see and do but their admission price is also pretty high. A steep $25 is general admission for adults. Seniors aged 62+ can get in the door for just $16!

Houston Zoo– The Houston Zoo loves Seniors! To get in the doors, seniors are offered their very best pricing. While regularly admission is $19.95 per person, Seniors pay just $14.95.

Kemah Fantasea– The Kemah Boardwalk is always free to enter but the yacht that sails around the harbor is $20 per person for adults! The Fantasea Yacht Charters gives a sweet $5 discount to Seniors 55 and older- just $15 gets you on board!

Regal Cinemas– Senior’s get a discount at Regal Cinemas nationwide! Regular admission is $10.89 per person, seniors pay just $8.19.

Space Center Houston– The Johnson Space Center is one of the greatest attractions in the Houston area but it comes with a hefty price tag. Take advantage of the discount offered to Seniors age 65 and older. Regular admission is $29.95, Seniors pay just $27.95.
