Forget overpriced prix fixe menus and last-minute flower bouquets. The Health Museum is trading clichés for scalpels with two offbeat celebrations that dive deep, literally, into the wonders of the human heart. One is the new Galentine’s Heartstrings, made especially for ride-or-die pals, and the other is their annual Valentine’s Heartstrings Unraveled for couples looking to make their Valentine’s date a little more exciting.

Whether you’re a die-hard science enthusiast or just looking for a one-of-a-kind night out, these events offer a chance to see the heart in a way few ever do, up close and in your own hands.

Forget the clichés with your trusted gals and pals and dive into a completely un-ordinary Galentine’s Day celebration slicing into the juicy wonders of the heart at the Health Museum’s Galentines’ Heartstrings.

Enjoy light bites, charcuterie, unlimited beer, wine, and a signature cocktail. But make sure you can hold it all in because the night’s main show is a guided interactive heart dissection led by Dr. Varsha Podduturi, a pathology specialist and Deputy Medical Examiner at the Fort Bend County Medical Examiner’s Office. Get ready to literally see inside someone’s heart.
