Most homes keep their lights on nightly from dusk until about 10 PM, though many of the larger displays, especially synchronized shows, run slightly later on weekends. Many homes will also keep their displays running until New Year’s Eve.

• From Highway 90A / US-90:
  Pecan Grove is also accessible via Hwy 90A, which runs close to the neighborhood’s northeast perimeter.

Each year, the Pecan Grove Property Owners Association runs a Christmas Lighting Contest! 

Residents are asked to have all their light displays up by late November. Then, judging happens a week or two later. Bulbs are then placed in the yards of the winners. 

There are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for “Best Use of Lights Theme” And “Best in the Eyes of a Child Theme.” Additionally, there will be two awards overall for the entire Pecan Grove POA neighborhood:
“Neighborhood Street with Best Overall Lights” and “Neighborhood Cul-de-Sac with Best Overall Lights”

Those who have maintained “HOF” status for up to 5 years straight and have continued to decorate are given Hall of Fame Bulbs. Homes that place for 5 years in a row in any category receive brand-new Hall of Fame Bulbs!

Peak viewing hours are generally between 7 PM and 9 PM, especially on weekends, when most visitors arrive, so expect heavier traffic and crowded sidewalks during this time.
