The beloved Sugar Land Holiday Lights is returning to Constellation Field for its spectacular 12th year of dazzling displays, themed nights, carnival rides, delicious holiday treats, photo ops, and family-friendly fun. This festive show features over 3 million lights, making it one of the largest and brightest walk-through Christmas experiences in the Houston area.

The Sugar Land Holiday Lights started as a way to bring a little extra magic to the community, and it quickly grew into a beloved holiday tradition that fills the stadium with color, music, and cheer.

Now in its 12th year, the experience shines bright with more than 3.5 million lights spread across 10 themed areas, each glowing with its own personality.

One of the event’s highlights is the towering 40-foot Christmas tree that steals the spotlight as it lights up the night with synchronized shows that dance to festive music. Visitors can keep the fun going at a synthetic ice rink, a brand-new 9-hole mini golf course, and a lively carnival featuring a Ferris wheel, carousel, and a classic fun slide.

Santa will also stop by through December 23, giving guests a chance to grab a photo and soak in a little extra holiday magic. Last but not least, the walkway is filled with holiday vendors, food trucks, and special themed nights ranging from a playful Christmas murder mystery date night to a dazzling New Year’s Eve fireworks celebration.

The Sugar Land Holiday Lights is open from November 21, 2025 to January 4, 2026. Their opening hours are as follows:

  • Sunday – Thursday: 6 pm – 9 pm
  • Friday – Saturday: 6 pm – 10 pm
  • Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day: 6 pm – 10 pm
  • New Year’s Eve: 6 pm – 12 am | 12 am – fireworks

Ticket prices start at $20.41 per person, but admission is complimentary for kids aged three and younger. Ticket prices also vary by date. 

Your ticket grants you full access to the NEW 9-hole mini golf course in the H-E-B Picnic Plaza, a twinkling light maze, cheerful vendors, dazzling light shows, s’mores stations, and friendly visits with Santa Claus. 

Santa photos come with an added cost, and the ice-skating and carnival attractions operate as separate experiences. You can purchase your tickets and event wristbands online or in person at the Regions Bank Ticket Office at Constellation Field.

Please take note, all ticket purchases are cashless. And while you can purchase in-person tickets, online purchase is encouraged for ease of entry. 

Discounts and Bundles

  • Santa’s Triple Play ticket bundles: Save 20% on admission, an ice skating pass, and a carnival pass from November 28, 2025, to January 1, 2026.
  • Military: All military, both active and retired, will receive ticket discounts for all Holiday Lights dates. All you have to do is bring proof of military ID.
  • Goodwill Mondays (11/24, 12/1, 12/8): Bring a full bag (minimum of 5 valid items) of gently used items on these Mondays and get a FREE ticket for that night.
  • Silver Bells Tuesdays (11/25, 12/2, 12/9): Guests aged 55 and above get discounted tickets on these dates.
  • Teacher Appreciation Night (11/26, 1/2): Teachers can enjoy a FREE ticket + a discount on additional tickets on these dates. There will also be a wine-tasting event which you can purchase a ticket for as an add-on. Please bring ID proof.
  • Military & First Responders Appreciation Night  |  Monday, December 1: All military and first responders will receive a FREE ticket with proof of military/first responder ID.
  • Scout NightSaturday, December 6: Scouts can enjoy discounted admission or a bundled scout package that includes a Holiday Lights ticket, an ice-skating pass, a s’mores voucher, and a special scout patch. Troops can request more info through the event’s Scout Night booking form.
  • Health Care Appreciation Night  |  Sunday, December 7: All health care professionals will receive a FREE ticket with proof of medical/hospital email online OR ID.

Sugar Land Holiday Lights fills the season with theme nights that bring extra personality to the glowing walk through Constellation Field. Each date adds its own twist, and the lineup keeps the calendar lively from the start of December all the way to New Year’s Eve.

  • Photos with Orion — Tuesday, December 2
    Orion, the crowd-favorite cosmic canine, visits Sugar Land Holiday Lights for a special photo opportunity. Guests can meet him and snap photos from 6–8 PM.

  • Center Field Cinema — December 3, 10, 17
    Houston Methodist brings holiday movies to the giant videoboard for a relaxed, cozy stadium movie night. Each film begins at 6:45 PM, giving guests plenty of time to explore the lights before settling in.

  • Astros Night — Thursday, December 4
    Astros spirit shines bright with in-person appearances from Orbit, Orion, and the Astros Shooting Stars. Fans can enjoy the holiday displays alongside their favorite Houston mascots and entertainers.

  • Sensory Friendly Night — Tuesday, December 16
    On this day, the event shifts into a gentle, calming mode with lowered music volume and static lights, creating a supportive environment for guests who prefer a quieter, more sensory-friendly evening.

  • Ladies Night — Friday, December 19
    Groups can enjoy a laid-back girls’ night out surrounded by glowing displays, with the option to add a wine tasting experience at the Karbach Cantina. Wine tasting upgrades are available on-site or as an online ticket add-on.

  • New Year’s Eve Fireworks — Wednesday, December 31
    The celebration runs from 6 PM to midnight and caps off with a vibrant fireworks show at 12:00 AM, courtesy of Houston Methodist. Guests can explore the lights, savor festive treats, and welcome the new year under a sky full of color.

  • New Year’s Eve Ball — Wednesday, December 31
    The fourth annual New Year’s Eve Ball, presented by Planet Fitness, offers an elevated 21+ celebration inside the Regions Bank Club from 8 PM to midnight. The night includes a buffet dinner, a 3-hour open bar for beer and wine, a DJ, festive photo ops, a champagne toast, and premium views of the midnight fireworks. Tickets also include full access to Sugar Land Holiday Lights.

Guests can park at Constellation Field LOT A, located at 1 Stadium Drive, Sugar Land, TX 77498. Depending on your route, directions may vary slightly, but the main entrance is always accessible via Stadium Drive.
